MEET COURTNEY
Courtney (she/her) completed her Bachelor Social Work in 2007. She is currently a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Social workers (Registration Number: 2325) and adheres to the Canadian Association of Social Work Code of Ethics.
Courtney is an experienced clinician who has dedicated the last 15 years to assisting individuals and their families living with mental health and substance use disorders. Her goal is to help clients make lasting changes, set boundaries and succeed in creating a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. A firm believer and there is no "right way" to do therapy she encourages her clients to come as they are and be their authentic self. She places is great value on the relationship between counsellor and client and offers a judgement free space where individuals can explore their therapeutic goals. Courtney's compassion, empathy, and humour make it easy for her to engage with clients quickly.
Courtney has a special interest in helping the family members and caregivers of loved ones living with mental health and substance use concerns.
Courtney is an avid traveller, a life-long learner, lover of books, and a self- proclaimed terrible cook! She enjoys spontaneous adventures whether it is on a paddle board or on a snowboard. You can often find her gardening, camping, hiking, and watching bad reality tv with her spouse. She laughs often, and her dog is her best friend. She is dedicated to getting life wrong sometimes in the spirit of learning, growing and evolving.
