MEET CANDICE ELTON (NP)
Candice Elton
Candice Elton completed her Bachelor Of Nursing with the University of Calgary in 2011 and worked as a registered nurse for 12 years. Her RN experience included: the emergency room, public health, and northern nursing. Most recently, Candice completed her Master of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program through the University of Regina in 2022. Since that time, she has been working in primary care, home care and medical aesthetics as a NP and also became a new mother welcoming a baby boy July 2023.
Candice has a special interest in ADHD, with experience in primary care and her personal life with individuals with ADHD. She's passionate about providing and accurate diagnosis and a management plan to individuals with ADHD, to help them succeed in goals they have set out in life. She is a member of CADDRA (Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance) and has taken their training program in assessment, diagnosis and management of ADHD for all ages. Most recently, she has completed training with CanREACH-SK (Patient Entered Mental Health in Paediatric Primary Care (PPP) Mini Fellowship. She believes in patient-centered, holistic care that is evidence-based. She also prides herself in being approachable and a friendly face for a patient to come to their health needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys helpring her family farm where she resides. From chasing cows to combining, she does it all, even with a baby in tow. Candice loves to travel and has been to almost 25 countries, and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
